New Germany Baptist Church in the Durban area of South Africa has been active in extensive literature production and distribution for many years. The fine people of this church have moved in this direction because they’ve found that the Lord is able to use them by this means in leading people to Himself and in feeding His sheep. Their encouragement through results in this work has gradually led them into greater activity and ability in it. They began in 2001 to distribute small A6 (3 x 5 in.) size, multiple-page booklets in mass to the rental post boxes of their area, booklets they have come to refer to as “pocket sermons”. The messages of these little missiles can be found under the POCKET SERMONS heading above. In 2004 an old offset press was purchased and they began producing their own booklets due to rising costs in having them printed by others. Then in 2008 Cornerstone Press was born, a non-profit organization given to providing greater printing and finishing abilities through the purchase of additional machinery.
Some of the pocket sermon booklets we produce and distribute for New Germany Baptist (Only God is God, Fear of Fathers, and Man for Woman) have been sent by the hundreds of thousands throughout the province of Natal and beyond. The back cover of each of these booklets is a tear-off response card offering a free four-part correspondence course dealing with the early chapters of John’s gospel. These course booklets you will find under the CORRESPONDENCE COURSE heading above. Through the sending out of this course upon request we've seen many, many people helped by God's grace. Saved and lost, men and women, prisoners and free, blacks, whites, and all races are finding light. What a pleasure! Beyond this 4-part correspondence course we've distributed thousands of other free books and booklets to those hungry for the truth of God's Word.
Through the active correspondence of this church with folks over the years throughout the country they have discovered a hunger in the hearts of God's people for a greater understanding of God's eternal words, which again draws them out to seek to feed that hunger. New Germany Baptist has been running Bible college classes for the past several years, and out of this work has arisen a developing Bible commentary series, which they refer to as their"Reading Companion series". This is a series 
books, combining to involve over 3,000 pages to date, offering sound comment to help folks in their understanding and application of the Bible as they read. These commentaries, dealing with many books of the Bible, we are making freely available for viewing and download under the READING COMPANIONS heading above. You'll find only a few listed there at present, but within the next couple of months we hope to have them all available for your use. As well, Cornerstone Press has taken on the task and expense of producing and making available this Reading Companion series in book form (hard copy) to all who may benefit. As we have been distributing these materials to the community we have been receiving good indication that God’s people are being helped and encouraged through them. Seems there is little Bible teaching available to the man on the street or in the African bush of a conservative, pre-millennial, non-reformed, understandable, practical nature.
May God use us to take the true teaching of His Word for His glory and the growth of His church to the ends of the earth.
